Timmy Finch is our D.C. lawyer, and for good reason. His first job -- many years ago -- was as a D.C. bike messenger in the height of the Dupont Circle scene. He is older now, but still rides a fixed gear, when he is not riding his Bullitt cargo bike.
The cool thing is how much D.C. has changed since then. In the day, cycling in the city was for a hardcore few. Fast forward 25 years, and cycling is redefining the city. From Bike Share to bike commuters to families with kids in tow, D.C. is emerging as one of the nation's capitals of cycling culture.
But D.C. has more cycling crashes per square mile than almost anywhere else in the world. That's where we can help. If you have been involved in a crash, give us a call or email.
On the legal front, it appears (as of August 2016) that D.C. will finally end the unfair doctrine of contributory negligence. If you are not a bike policy wonk, this means that the laws will be fairer for bicycle crash victims. Many thanks to the Washington Area Bicyclist Association for their efforts for legal reform.
If you have been injured in a DC bike accident, by a defective bicycle product, or because of an unsafe road condition and would like to discuss your case with a DC bicycle crash attorney who gets cycling, Timmy welcomes your call for a free consultation. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org, and 202-400-3700.
